Our Early Learning Centers give children a strong foundation for future success.

It’s a full school day of education and fun. And it’s open to all eligible families.

At Illinois Action for Children, we’re committed to helping children and families get the support they need to succeed. That’s why we provide curriculum-based Early Learning Programs at our four directly-operated centers.

Your children will enjoy a safe, high-quality education with qualified teachers and staff at IAFCs Early Learning Programs. They will also have healthy, nutritious meals and access to transportation (some restrictions do apply). Income-eligible children up to five years old are welcome, including children with special needs.

Our curriculum is play-based.

At our Early Learning Centers, we utilize the Creative Curriculum® that allows children to learn through their interests. To ensure that children are on track for success, they are assessed three times a year using the Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment system.

Results of these assessments are shared with families during parent-teacher conferences. These conferences are also a great time for parents to set and discuss goals for their children.
